   This is where we started.  This patient said that he saw 6 doctors, and was told he had to take teeth out and have jaw surgery and all kinds of crazy stuff.  Obviously, he wasn't happy with the news, and he came to see us.

 

 

11 months later (after ZOOM! whitening). Notice how much the lower teeth have moved.  In the top jaw, most of the movement was in the molar region which doesn't show in this photo.

 

 

16 months and almost done.  The lower canines still need a few more months of rotation.

Don't let other Invisalign providers tell you it can't be done.  (The hole on the front tooth is from a cavity that will soon be fixed now that we have access to it.)

 

Check out how we spun the little tooth (on the right of the photo) 90 degrees!  Some dentists say that this can't be done with Invisalign.

HOW IT WORKS     Invisalign is a series of nearly invisible, custom made trays that you wear 24 hours a day.  You remove them when you eat, drink, brush, and floss.  If your prescribed treatment is for 12 months, then you will receive 26 aligners, one new aligner for each two week period.  When you first place them onto your teeth, they feel tight.  They may even be sore for a couple of days. But after two weeks, the aligners are popping in and out of your mouth pretty easily.  Then you put the old one aside, grab the next aligner, and put it in place.  Voila.  The aligner feels tight again.  Dr. Watson will monitor your progress and give you more aligners as you go.  Treatment times average 10-12 months, but may increase or decrease due to the nature of your case.
